Open farm land. The station uses an OWFS to collect data from various one-wire sensors that are connected to a raspberry Pi 2 micro computer. This data is then used and displayed by 'weewx', an experimental weather software system written in Python. Weewx was designed to be simple, fast, and easy to understand by leveraging modern software concepts.
